As the weather warms up and residents are out walking, running, biking and playing in the sun, it is important to be aware of the wildlife we share our trails with. Rattlesnakes, mountain lions, bobcats and coyotes are just a few animals that live among us in Folsom.

The Folsom City Council is seeking applications from individuals interested in serving on an 11-member Historic District Parking Solutions Ad Hoc Committee. The Committee will explore possible solutions to alleviate traffic and parking concerns in the residential portions of the Historic District.

Vista del Lago High School continues to experience its largest student enrollment since it opened more than a decade ago. The Folsom Cordova Unified School District Board of Education has taken steps to manage school capacity for the upcoming 2019-20 school year, and the district will engage the community in the coming months to review school boundaries to help permanently alleviate overcrowding.
